		h3. Description

		Field Templates define an [Advanced Search] term that replaces the standard query on the field as given by the [Simple Search]. The attribute {{Field/@FieldTemplate}} in a Simple Search controls which Field Template shall be activated if any.

		Configuration for Field Templates are very identical to [Search Templates\|Search Template]. The only implicit but obvious limitation is that it can only use {{Field Templates}} that refer the {{SourceField}} for which it is configured.
